Cara Labuschagne

Cara has over 10 years’ experience in climate adaptation and mitigation in senior analytical, consultancy and leadership roles. She leads our Climate Resilience offering, supporting clients to prepare for physical and transitional climate risks and develop broader organisational resilience. Cara joined Waterman in 2023 from the UK Climate Change Committee (CCC), where she assessed national progress on climate adaptation and advised Government on delivering climate resilient, Net Zero infrastructure. Cara has a Masters degree in Carbon Management and demonstrable knowledge of UK climate impacts and policy, as well as broader sustainability initiatives such as TCFD, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and climate-related ISO standards.
