The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) is a global market-led initiative which aims to provide financial institutions and corporates with a complete picture of their environmental risks and opportunities. The TNFD recommendations were published in 2023. 

The TNFD presents a framework for organisations to report and act on evolving nature-related risks, building on the success of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), in order to support a shift in global financial flows away from nature-negative outcomes towards nature-positive outcomes.

The TNFD is based on four disclosure pillars: governance, strategy, risk & impact management and metrics & targets.
